well they're very good, but the do not look much like the celebrities they are of. l think it is something to do with the shape of the faces.

You're very good, but watch for distortion of facial features. In some of the drawings, the eyes bulge, or the mouth is screwy. Take your time with drawings and look at them every day to see what could be changed and improved. As for the price--$100 is a bit steep. l would only charge that much if it was a fairly large drawing and it was personalized (ie, a drawing of that person or someone they know and not a celebrity drawing that you could get anywhere). Good luck.

They are really good! The best ones are of people that we do not know. Do you know why? Because we do not know what they look like so we can criticize if some of the details are not perfect. Your African women are super rad though! l love them. Keep going and maybe try to get $50 out of them, rather than $100. If you get a name going for yourself more people will be willing to pay large amounts of money for your work.

honestly l would not pay 100 dollars for a portraits like these, in my opinion they seem a bit abstract if that says anything to you, there is no doubt that you have some major skills. maybe your just overpricing them, l was reminded of those people l see out by the carnivals doing the portraits of people in a matter of minutes, l know you work hard on these but try lowering the price.

You're definitely a great artist but maybe you should not focus on the celebrity side. Jennifer Garner is good but not quite right and Jessica Alba looks a little aged, Brad Pitt l can not really see at all. the Angelina is are pretty good, the Walker is perfect and so is the Jake but l think you're limiting yourself with the celebs and maybe that is why the feedback was not good?
Good luck. you will do brilliantly because you definitely have the talent!!

Some of the lips and/or chins looked a little off to me, but overall, l loved your art. Maybe just work on proportions a bit more?

There great pictures! But it would be hard to sell them for that high of an amount. Most people that do sell pics like that do it on size basis. The larger the higher the price.
l would try to incorporate color to add more detail. The black and white are great but color will give you more diversity in terms of sales.
Good Luck!

l am going to be honest with you, & u can be offended or not, ur choice. But sorry, they're not worth $100. Honestly, they look like just drawings to me. Maybe like they'd fit into my old high school AP Art class (which was amazing by the way, so it is hard to compare). The ones that I've seen sell very well have looked so much like a photograph l just could not tell what was the actual photo & what was the actual drawing. Something like this:
http://tunaferit.deviantart.com/art/Britney-Spears-17972850
Even then the original probably only sold for half the price you're asking for yours.
You're on a good start though. Your art shows that u have a lot of talent, just keep it up & u will get there.

they r good no doubt but u need to work on the eyes a bit & the lips in some of ur pictures one side of the lip is bigger than the other same goes for the eyes other than that l think u r truly gifted im a big fan of people who can draw l my self can draw.
oo. l think ur best work was the guy witht the long hair, the tiger, & the african women :)
keep doing what ur doing and as for the price maybe u should lower it down about 15 dollars maybe u will have more luck i hope this helps

As an artist myself l can tell u that u should be proud of yourself for the work u did. Some of the head shapes & facial features r a little distorted but if u step back from ur work every now & then while working on it u should be able to see that yourself & correct it. l think the picture of the old woman is excellent. As for the price of $100. l do not think u will get much business at that price.unless it is spectacular (which it could be with a little more work) or huge. Good luck!

They´re ok, not great, not awesome, not artistic at all, not deep, but ok. In my opinion, ur portraits look like those quick drawings that they do in shopping malls for a little amount of money. l honestly think that $100 is a lot of money & l don´t think ur drawings worth it. l would pay $20, no $100 !! However, l think u do have talent, but you´re not taking advantage of it. Try to draw being completely honest with yourself. Do celebrities really r what matters to u the most? Try drawing something u care about, drawing is about COMMUNICATION, u have to SAY something ORIGINAL, u have to give people something to think about. Celebrities r not an important thing to draw, they already have magazines, tv, movies, blablabla.

Wow. they are truly excellent! you have a fair hand at drawing.i wish l did! l would not say they were worth $100 but that is just because they are not coloured. try painting the portraits or making them more abstract than they already are, this way they become more unique with an added personal flair also the consumer will know that they are getting a one of a kind piece of art. cheers:]
p.s l loved johnny!

they're both right. u do have a lot of talent, but the little things u need to work on might not make it worth 100 dollars. l think a lot of it is just placement. in the drawing u labeled girl, her eye on the right looks a little off. jessica alba looks a little older than she actually is, too. the picture of the old lady u did awesome on. another one is angelina jolie is eye from the tomb raider drawing on the right side is a little too big, like it bulging out. jennifer gardner is right side of her face is a little bit off. l think it might just be too curved in. l know these r little things to work on, but truthfully from experience they make a huge difference in the final picture.

Yeahh man ur heaps good, l dont know if its intentional but ur portraits look slightly like caricatures just because the proportions r all out of whack. Your amazing at shading & realism, some r better than others but they r all still really good. l wouldnt be charging that much at all, if u dont want to keep them for a portfolio or just for yourself, sell them for cheaper at least. l always get offers for a fair bit of money to do potraits, but l dont take it because l love drawing, & l am getting my name out there for free. Your really good, Im really not trying to be rude but try not to be selfish with ur talent. Get ur name recognized, jump into a business of some sort than start charging big money.

They're good. l like the one of Jessica Alba. But people wo not buy them because they're not perfect, and people only want perfect art.that is why it is s hard to be an artist. l think if you practice, in about a year you will seriously be able to charge money for these. Join an art gallery like deviantart.com , so you can make other artist friends and get ARTIST feedback instead of feedback.
