i'm 15 and am not bvery good at art. l drew these at school and my parents liked them.. so l wanna see if they are just being supportive or if they really are ok.
The first one is a self Portrait - yes it looks liek l have a red face. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x141/nikki2452/IMGP5009.jpg
This one l had to reproduce from a small photo of a man who was originally drawn by a famous artist.... http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x141/nikki2452/IMGP5008.jpg
What do you think. please do not be harsh..

they are both pretty good, ignoring the fact that it looks like you have a red face lmao, l like the self portrait. it is well constructed and proportioned.

The self-portrait -- even though u do not have a lot of experience drawing, it shows a kind of raw eye for color & expression. The color is actually quite exciting in a delicate understated way. There is a quiet tiny dissonance between the orange hair & the red face that to me is great. By ''dissonance'' l mean that they should clash, & kind of do a bit, but in an exciting way that works. Then that strange green behind is also interesting. There is something too in the eyes that is moving. It is somehow quite expressive. l love how the eyes pick up on the background colors but r just slightly bluer.
The other too l think is good. l suppose most would say it looks more accomplished. It is in some ways. l like how u bring that dark right around the right side of his face like that. It is bold. But to me, the self-portrait is the more interesting image.
