Do anything that inspires you, whether it be listening to music, taking a walk, or doing something productive. l know, this sounds weird, but l always get inspiration for things l want to draw or write while l am in the shower. =]
Relax, and do not worry about overcoming your block. In fact, that might be what is hindering you. Just chill, and inspiration whill return. =]
Hope l helped!

l just doodle until l get really inspired or l will sometimes just wait it out. you could try doing something different with your art as well.

l like coloring books. Its a way to clear your mind, but something for you hands to do. Do not think about your other artwork. Just let your mind clear.. it will come to you sometime when you've allowed your mind to go blank. Do not just stare at it all day. Give it some space. Also keep a pad/pencil by your bed. l find the best ideas come to me right before l fall asleep.

l just leave it for a bit- l find nothing worse that forced art, If Im forcing ideas out l dont really end up with anything worth while. l find ideas come to me late at night before l sleep as Ive been listening to music, & looking into things that interest me online etc.
At college they tell us to research. maybe this isnt something u really want to do all day, but if u find an image u like on the internet search up the artist or designer, soemtimes looking things up inspires u more than u think. l subconciously pick ideas up this way.
Good luck, l know hwo frustrating it can be. But sometimes its worth taking some time out & coming back to it later :)

1. Go get some plastilena di Roma. $8 for a two pound block (roughly) Get some plaster of Paris, much cheaper, & learn how to make maquettes (small statues) cast molds of them them in plaster of Paris & use papier mache (torn paper in wallpaper paste) to recreate them.
2. Take up abstraction. Actually near the end of the Abstraction period Larry Rivers & Frank O'Hara did a very funny essay called ''how to make a painting'' which is inspiring this answer. It begins:
''1. Do something'' 2. Now do something else.''
There is a profound secret hidden there. What u produce is more important than ''how creative u are''. Learn new skills like sculpture, or relearn them as l just did -- try making masks this halloween season. Apply ur drawing talent to the new skills & the new media, & they will suggestg new ideas u can bring back to ur old media.
